LINENNEST HOME — BEDROOM & BEDDING STORE CUSTOMIZATION
=======================================================

What was customized
- Rebranded the storefront to Kigali Shoes, a specialist bed sheets, bed covers and shoe essentials shop.
- Added the supplied 45 footwear images as optimized JPG product images under product_images/.
- Added 45 sample products with prices in RWF/FRW, descriptions, categories, brand, stock quantities and searchable keywords.
- Replaced the footwear-store hero with a footwear image and changed the storefront palette to warm linen/brown tones.
- Added a simple transparent Kigali Shoes logo and favicon in uploads/branding/.
- Updated the fresh-install SQL catalog and added an existing-database migration.
- Checked the product catalog/POS/inventory query paths: all use the same products table and product_id/product_qty fields. POS sales decrement products.product_qty; inventory adjustments update that same quantity. Fixed storefront category icons and product-card collection branding.

IMPORTANT EXISTING DATABASE DEPLOYMENT
1. Back up the database first.
2. Upload/replace the project files from this archive.
3. Upload product_images/ and uploads/branding/ along with the rest of the project.
4. In phpMyAdmin select the database configured in config/constants.php.
5. Import DATABASE/LINENNEST_HOME_CATALOG_UPGRADE.sql.
This intentionally replaces the old demo products/categories/brands and clears abandoned cart rows.
It preserves customer accounts and historical order rows, and archives the prior product catalog in products_legacy_archive before product IDs are reassigned. Historical order product IDs refer to the archived catalog, not the new footwear catalog; review/archive order history before using this on a live store.
6. Log in to admin and check Products, Inventory and POS. The migration seeds stock above zero so items should be visible and sellable in POS.
7. If an existing installation uses a different DB name than config/constants.php, update that file to the correct database credentials before testing.

Fresh install
- Use DATABASE/ecommerce_site_FULL_INSTALL.sql for the database structure/catalog.
- Then upload the project files and images.
- The default admin account in the SQL file is demo-only; change the password immediately after installation.

Inventory/POS behavior
- Admin product creation writes products.product_qty.
- Inventory reads products.product_qty and stock adjustments update it.
- POS lists the products table and excludes selling only by disabling items whose stock is zero; a completed POS sale reduces products.product_qty and writes inventory_movements.
- The products, inventory and POS endpoints use config/constants.php through admin/classes/Database.php, so they must point at the same database as the storefront's db.php.

Pricing note
- These are suggested sample retail prices in Rwandan francs (FRW), not confirmed prices supplied by the client. Please confirm final prices, exact fabric composition, dimensions, included pieces, delivery fees and return terms before going live.
